Minesweeper is a free game made by ØM creative studio. This page explains what information the game uses, why, and how you can have it deleted.
Playing as a guest
If you play as a guest, nothing is sent to us. Your guest name, profile picture choice, theme and scores are stored only in your browser on this device. Signing out as a guest deletes them.
Signing in with Google or Facebook
If you choose to sign in, Google or Facebook shares your name, email address and profile photo with the game. We use them only to:
- show your name and photo on your profile and on the leaderboards;
- keep your scores so you can play on any device.
We also store your best times for each difficulty and a rough location (country and region) worked out from your browser's language and time zone, so the Local and Regional leaderboards work. We never see your Google or Facebook password.
What we don't do
- We don't show ads or use advertising trackers.
- We don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone.
- We don't post anything to your Google or Facebook account.
Where your data is stored
Accounts and scores are stored with Supabase, our database provider. The site itself is hosted by Vercel. Both only process the data to run the game.
Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your account and all of your scores at any time. Email juanchosc01@gmail.com from the address on your Google or Facebook account with the subject "Minesweeper data deletion". We'll delete everything within 30 days and confirm by email.
You can also remove the game's access from your Google or Facebook account settings at any time.
Children
Signing in is meant for players aged 13 and over. Google and Facebook only let people have their own account from age 13 (older in some countries), so children under 13 shouldn't sign in with them, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Younger players are welcome to play as a guest. Guest play needs no account and sends us nothing: names, scores and settings stay on the device. If you think a child under 13 has signed in, email us and we'll delete their account.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date. Questions? Email juanchosc01@gmail.com.
